Greger Gunnarsson appointed as CEO of airteam Sweden

Greger Gunnarsson has been appointed as CEO of airteam Sweden, a fast-growing supplier of climate and ventilation solutions in the Swedish market. Greger will join the company from his role as Region Head at Bravida and will assume his new position in December 2019 at the latest.

Greger has been active within the fields of construction and installation throughout his career. During his time at Bravida, Greger was instrumental in acquiring and merging the Björnberg Group with Bravida and in developing and growing Bravida’s ventilation service in Stockholm.

“There is great potential for further development at airteam through organic growth in existing markets, acquisitions and international expansion. The Swedish operations have consisted of three subsidiaries since the beginning of the year, with geographic presence in the expansive Mälardalen region. With Greger on board, focus in Sweden will be on national expansion through a combination of organic growth and selected strategic acquisitions,” says Peter Wallin at Ratos.

“I believe that Greger Gunnarsson is the right person to lead the Swedish operations on this journey. Greger has a solid background in construction and installation and knows what it takes to meet stringent customer requirements for quality and level of delivery service. Greger also has the leadership qualities needed to successfully manage operations,” says Poul Pihlmann, President and CEO of airteam.

Ratos became the majority owner of airteam in 2016. The company is a Nordic supplier of climate and ventilation solutions, with a market-leading position in the Danish home market and with strong growth in the Swedish market. Value at airteam is created through a customer-oriented corporate culture with talented and dedicated employees who maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Sales for the rolling 12-month period ending 31 March 2019 amounted to approximately 700 MDKK.
