Get an insight into the role of Investment Analyst Intern at Ratos.
What attracted you to Ratos?
Ratos's combination of a long history and a clear focus on the future. The opportunity to work at a listed investment company with short decision-making paths and real influence felt very attractive, and also unique. Analysis translates quickly into tangible impact, which is exciting.
What does your role involve?
I work on strategic and financial analyses related to how we create long-term value in our portfolio companies, from company valuations to discussions about different value creation strategies. The long-term perspective – not just five to ten years ahead – is particularly exciting.
What is your background?
I have an academic background in economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and experience from several consulting firms, where I worked on corporate strategies. This has provided a strong foundation in my role, enabling me to contribute to strategic analyses for Ratos's portfolio companies and to discussions about how we can help them become leaders in their respective industries.
