Ratos has appointed Jesper Andersson as the new CEO of Speed Group (Speed). Jesper Andersson was one of the founders of Speed and, since then, has played a central role in the company’s journey of growth. He will assume his new position today, 10 October 2022.

“I’m delighted that Jesper Andersson is the new CEO of Speed. He knows the company inside and out and has played an active role in the business’s positive development in recent years. Jesper Andersson has a broad skillset that will be important to maintaining a positive trend as Speed now enters a new period of growth. Ratos would also like to thank Speed’s former CEO Mats Johnson and wish him all the best as he now takes on new challenges. The company performed very well under his leadership and focus on operational efficiency, always prioritising Speed’s customers and employees,” says Christian Johansson Gebauer, Chairman of the Board of Speed and President Business Area Construction & Services at Ratos.

“I am proud and honoured to have the opportunity to lead Speed. As one of the founders, I have the advantage of having followed and been involved in the company’s development for many years, moving toward increased profitability through strong growth. Today, Speed’s offering is modern and attractive. There certainly won’t be a lack of challenges in the world going forward, but Speed’s employees are outstanding and the company has a stable foundation in its sustainable logistics and staffing solutions,” says Jesper Andersson, Speed’s new CEO.
