Petteri Saarinen new CEO of LEDiL

Petteri Saarinen has been appointed as the new CEO of LEDiL, a leading company in the global LED secondary optics market. Petteri is a proven leader and has managed companies through both growth and turnaround, both as CEO and Chairman. Petteri will step into his new role in December. In conjunction with this, acting CEO Rami Huovinen will return to his role as a member of the Board of Directors of LEDiL.


Petteri Saarinen has more than 20 years of operational and international experience within several different companies, and most recently comes from the CEO position in Trafotek.

LEDiL is a leading Finnish company in the global market for secondary optics for LED lighting. LEDiL products are sold through its own sales force and through agents and distributors in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Ratos acquired 66% of LEDiL in 2014 and sales for 2018 amounted to EUR 43m with an EBITA margin of 25%.
